Which insulating material is used for making switches?

Ans:1.Plate or switchboard: This is the part that contains the electrical switches or sockets. It can be made of a number of materials, ranging from metal to glass and even wood or leather. However, Polycarbonate is the most common material used.

2. Switch: The rocker switch is almost always made of Polycarbonate. However, only the finest switches like that by Anchor are made of fire-retardant material (Polycarbonate of V0 grade and Urea Formaldehyde) which can be a boon in case of any untoward incidents. Some switches may also contain an LED light which indicates the switch is in ON / OFF position.

3. Housing: This is the main body of the switch and is made of insulating or non-conducting material like plastic.

4. Contact Terminals: These are made of brass material. Brass is a good electrical and thermal conductivity and ease of forming, combined with good corrosion resistance, makes brass an ideal choice for the manufacture of electrical equipment, both domestic and industrial. To increase corrosion resistance manufacturers provide nickel coating on brass parts.

5. Screws: These components hold the wires together and are made of metal. However, some special switches these days do not contain screws at all.

6. The wires from the electricity source and to the device: These are generally copper wires coated with flame retardant PVC, rubber or plastic coating.

7. Spring: Ever tried to keep the switch in between the on and off position but failed? That’s because of the spring in the switch which holds it in place.

A ceiling fan is running slow sometimes stops but the regulator and switch is working properly which fault is in this circuit

Ans:due to the loose connection or it core may be damaged .

Write the three method to insert table in MS World?

Ans:press alt +T.

        or press table icon.

        or press draw table.

The difference between the draw table means u can draw in your own way and add colons and rows as u like and insert table means you can choose how many rows and columns you want.

Write any 5 electronic devices which you use for educational purposes?

Ans:1.computer.

        2.micro control boards like(Arduino,raspberry pi ).

        3.phones.

        4.tv

        5.e books.

Electronic items used for reading?

Ans: Any electronics devices can't read any matter any character .It can only read HIGH and Low signals are we say high and low voltage .hence they read only binary language 0's and 1's..

By which year was the entire country shifted to electronic voting machines?

Electronic Voting is the standard means of conducting elections using Electronic Voting Machines, sometimes called "EVMs" in India. The use of EVMs and electronic voting was developed and tested by the state-owned Electronics Corporation of India and Bharat Electronics in the 1990s. They were introduced in Indian elections between 1998 and 2001, in a phased manner. The electronic voting machines have been used in all general and state assembly elections of India since 2004.

The voltage drop across the resistance R in a closed electrical circuit is?

The voltage drop across a resistor is nothing but the voltage value across a resistor. Sometimes it is also called 'voltage over the resistor' or simply 'Voltage drop'. It is generally indicated as: 'V(drop)' or 'Vr' or 'Vd' For multiple resistors, it is written as Vr1, Vr2, Vr3, and so on.

Voltage Drop: Series Circuit

If you want to find voltage drops across individual resistors in a series, you proceed as follows:

  1. Calculate the total resistance by adding the individual R values.
  2. Calculate the current in the circuit, which is the same across each resistor since there is only one wire in the circuit.
  3. Calculate the voltage drop across each resistor using Ohm's law.

Example: A 24-V power source and three resistors are connected in series with R1= 4 Ω, R2= 2 Ω and R3 = 6 Ω. What is the voltage drop across each resistor?

First, calculate total resistance: 4 + 2 + 6 = 12 Ω

Next, calculate the current: 24 V/12 Ω = 2 A

Now, use the current to calculate the voltage drop across each resistor. Using V = IR for each, the values of R1, R2 and R3 are 8 V, 4 V and 12 V.

Voltage Drop: Parallel Circuit

Example: A 24-V power source and three resistors are connected in parallel with R1= 4 Ω, R2= 2 Ω and R3 = 6 Ω, as before. What is the voltage drop across each resistor?

In this case, the story is simpler: Regardless of the resistance value, the voltage drop across each resistor is the same, making the current the variable that differs across resistors in this case. This means that the voltage drop across each is just the total voltage of the circuit divided by the number of resistors in the circuit, or 24 V/3 = 8 V.

Resistor Voltage Drop Calculator

See the Resources for an example of an instance in which you can use an automatic tool to calculate the voltage drop in a kind of circuit arrangement called a voltage divider.
